The sixth year in a row of the most significant events in the Czech Republic focused on the space industry will occur from November 25 to December 2, 2023, in Brno.
Jan Lipavský, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, launched CzechSpaceWeek today on the 15th anniversary of his country’s entry into the European Space Agency (ESA).
Minister Lipavsky emphasised that the Russian invasion of Ukraine also had significant impacts on international activities in space exploration. This created a vacuum that China aims to exploit.
“Many activities in which Russia figured have been terminated, and it is also necessary to perceive the growing role of China,” the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs said, opening the event.
Czech Space Week targets large industrial enterprises, newly established startups, teachers, students and space fans. It offers crucial information about everything that drives the Czech Republic’s space industry.
